In this video, I talk about the new weapon meta in Fortnite Chapter 2. More specifically, I focus on the pump shotgun vs the tac shotgun (tactical shotgun), the new legendary burst (AUG) vs SCAR (legendary and epic assault rifle), and then the best possible loadouts you can run in the new season. I also talk about why I always choose the tac over the pump this season, unless it’s a legendary or epic pump. As you guys know, the loot pool in Fortnite chapter 2 has changed dramatically. We have a lot less guns, but still have to make the important decision of which shotgun to choose and what the best shotgun and assault rifle is. The pump shotgun has always been everyone’s first choice. However, while Epic did in fact add new rarities to the pump such as the gold and purple (legendary) ones, they also nerfed the base damage of the white, green and blue pump. As you’ll see, this makes your decision on what to choose a lot harder than before. The other debate is between the gold burst, known as the AUG, and the SCAR (scar vs AUG) (AUG vs SCAR). The SCAR has long been everyone’s favorite and best assault rifle, but the AUG is insanely good as well. Lastly, I talk about the best loadouts to run and some underrated weapons and items like the new gold pistols.
