With the current state of the game, you can definitely play an APM game with infinite pirates, which is what I did. I got a golden Hoggarr very early in the game with Peggy. Later, I had 2 golden Peggies and that slowed down the game very much. People did not play poison so the game for me was just going for as many stats as possible.
