Today we are talking about how the grandmaster Doomfist player can carry his competitive games in season 7 overwatch competitive ranked mode guide for overwatch season 7 placement matches and overwatch season 7 changes. Going over some Doomfist season 7 tips and guide or whatever you want to call it. TIPS I WROTE DOWN FROM THE VIDEO:-Doomfist is a completely viable pick, just harder than soldier to play. Dont play Doomfist unless you main
-chipsa says the buffs wont really make him a more valued pick under GM.
-you can play doomfist without a shield comp, if people wont go rein then you are ok
-he likes doomfist a lot more on defense than offense. Harder to pop off on offense and go back to safety
-you should probably know how to play another flanker dps if the enemy has a good mccree or roadhog
-doomfist is extremely situational, maps with high ground like eichenvalde and kings row are ok, other…
-he goes in from the high ground with shift e, and then taps rocket punch while holding space to escape
-remember to shoot inbetween every ability you use. You cant get kills as doomfist if you dont
-he hides on high ground out of sight, then jumps in and one pops. if he doesnt get the kill he instaly backs
-doomfist cant get a kill on people getting healed unless they are next to a wall or have a huge hitbox
-he uses the charge punch space to go SUPER far, then e in for the kill. Punch + jump GETS RID OF DAMAGE SO CARE
-he never really tried to dive on the enemies all at once, just keeps looking for people out of place
-staying on high ground stops the enemy from using that advantage, and gives you kill potential up the wazoo
-you always want to be able to drop e, oon many maps you cant and that is where doomfist suffers
-you can use your e around corners, he picks off mercy with that
-Fight with your cooldowns. Dont continually attack. Instead, attack, hide, attack, hide
-your ult is a get out of jail free card, use it to escape or trade 1 for 1 instead of trying for a teamwipe
-if you play doom right, your supports wont need to heal you that much, use health packs often
-doom/genji is a great combo becaues both often will ALMOST kill somebody, but with both you ALWAYS kill
-shoot towards the lower neck. Dont be aiming at the head or elseyou never hit
-always use your ult when any combo ult is used like rein/zarya. The rest of your kit doesnt get kills with those
-flying in with your punch and then targeting somebody with e, shoot, uppercut is how to pop off on doomfist
-use your punch like a projectile, think to where the enemy is probably going to go to, not where they are
-if the enemy is running a dive comp, try to punch their main diver (winston) back to allow your counterdive
