Overwatch origins and lore-wise, Hammond has had quite the eventful life! As one of the test Subjects on Horizon Lunar Colony (presumably under the auspices of Lucheng Interstellar of Lijiang Tower), Subject 8 flummoxed the scientists with his nightly excursions and break-outs from his pen. Little did they know what he was teaching himself, and how that would ultimately save his life…before a career as a nigh-on-gladiator known as Wrecking Ball!
In this video I’ll tell the tale of Hammond full bio lore, along with extra details from the Overwatch timeline and story, while sharing thoughts on some things in the trailer lore-wise! It contains spoilers, of course, so look away now if you need to watch it first, then come back to this video to share your thoughts in the comments! Time codes to skip below in the description.
