Back in 2012 Far Cry 3 put some of the most powerful graphics cards on the market through their paces, with some GPUs struggling to maintain 60FPS at higher settings. How then could Ubisoft expect gamers to enjoy a smooth experience with an Intel Core i3 530 and 1GB HD 5770, both of which were recommended?
Well today we’re taking a look back at the game, as well as the now very cheap hardware that should have provided a decent experience, to see how well it really does. I’ll also be putting this £50 ($60) machine to the test with some other AAA titles.
