Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, or PvZ GW2 for short, is a third-person shooter and tower defence video game developed by PopCap Games and published by Electronic Arts. It is available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is the sequel to Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare. Gameplay remains the same as PVZ GW1, with the addition of 6 new plants – FREE DLC “Graveyard Variety Pack” + “EASTER DLC” Six new character classes and over 100 playable characters, including Rose, Citron, and Kernel Corn on the side of the plants, and Imp, Super Brainz and Captain Deadbeard on the side of the zombies. Dive into even bigger new game modes with 24-player multiplayer. All of this takes place across brand new maps, including the low gravity Moon Base Z, and the snowy Frosty Creek.

Trials of Gnomus introduces the Mystery Portal, a magical gateway built by gnomes to test the skills of the plants and zombies. Players can travel through the Mystery Portal to play three all-new limited-time game modes and earn Rainbow Stars to unlock Rainbow Chests and the Gnome Underworld. In this all-new area, players can engage in the Trials of Eternity, a series of challenging gnome trials that will test their speed, puzzle-solving, shooting, and memory skills. By discovering and completing the Trials of Eternity, players can unlock new rewards from legendary customization items, to original Garden Warfare favorites, and eventually redeem prizes that will change their PvZGW2 universe forever.
