In this video, I talk about some tips and tricks to make money and place higher in Cash Cups. As with every new Fortnite season, cash cups have returned and been revamped. Epic has completely changed the format and scoring system. Rather than making the cash cups two rounds with an open round for contenders league players and then a second round for the top 100 players from the open round, Platform Cash Cups are only 1 round. That round lasts 3 hours and gives players a maximum of 10 matches to play. The people who score the most points at the end of it will place at the top and win money. Now, as Im sure you all know, I am not a pro player. I am more of a coach/content creator who analyzes what the best pro players are doing. For these solo cash cups, I analyzed some of the top performing pros who placed top 5 or won the most recent Season 3 solo cash cups. They include Steelix, who won the EU platform cash cup, FaZe Dubs, who came second in the NA solo cash cup, as well as PWR Worthy, PWR Repulse, and BL Anas. I talk about the most effective strategy for gaining more points (w-keying vs playing for placement) as well as tips to help you in the cash cup and not tilt off the face of the Earth.
