Tim ‘Spike’ Davis, our Expert Hunter, makes a return today reacting to Far Cry Primal. Looking at the hunting and killing techniques, Tim walks (and crouches) us through a multitude of animals both current and extinct and describes the best procedures when it comes to taking them out and stripping them for resources. Tim also sprinkles in fun facts about American history and some of his own hunting tales so be sure to tune in for some great content!
Far Cry Primal is an action-adventure game set in an open world. It is played from the perspective of the first-person protagonist. Since the game is set in prehistoric times, the traditional gunplay and vehicle gameplay featured in the Far Cry series has been removed, and the player can only obtain melee weapons such as spears, clubs, and bows and arrows. Weapons cannot be purchased and must be crafted using materials found in the world such as wood and stone. As the player progresses, they can craft more lethal weapons from a wider array of resources.
